Between Obama’s risk of assassination and McCain’s risk of simply running out the clock at any moment, which candidate do you think is more conscious of the importance of his Vice President?

I’m thinking McCain is. Oldness is a much more reliable determinant of death than blackness.

And doesn’t it also say something about the state of the Republican Party that there’s currently no obvious choice for McCain’s successor.
