It is called SHALLOW: a series of portraits of people wishing, wanting, anticipating, longing, hoping, deciding, imagining and finally forcing themselves to have sex…[it] features Ian Curtis’s (Joy Division) voice a cappella singing, “Love Will Tear Us Apart” is cut with Captain & Tenille’s “Love Will Keep Us Together”… as a topless girl slowly walks down a staircase dragging a mink behind her… slowly, ever so slowly and almost grinding to a stand-still by the end.

Malcolm McClaren is blogging his trip to exhibit “musical paintings” at Art Basel, for the New York Times. I’m very tired and I honestly can’t tell if the work––not to mention McClaren’s bloggy voice––is cool or awful.
